Cowboy Burgers


INGREDIENTS:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 T. lawry's seasoned salt
4 slices swiss cheese
hamburger buns
1/2 T. olive oil
1 carton sliced mushrooms
1 container french fried onions
BBQ Sauce, to taste

Mix the ground beef and seasoned salt. form patties and throw them on a preheated grill. When they are about done put slices of swiss cheese on them. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill as well. While the burgers are cooking take a skillet and and pour in the olive oil and mushrooms. Saute until mushrooms are cooked. To build the burger, take a hamburger bun, put a patty with cheese on it, and top with sauteed mushrooms. Follow with french fried onions, then pour on the barbecue sauce. Serves 4.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookies


Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal is a staple in our house. My kids love it so when i found this recipe i knew i had to give it a try. Needless to say they didn't last long in our house!


INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups flour

2 cups cinnamon toast crunch cereal crumbs

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix above ingredients together and set aside.

In a mixing bowl add:

1 cup butter

3/4 cup white sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

Mix until blended well and then slowly add dry ingredients. With a small ice cream scoop make balls and roll in cereal crumbs. Bake @ 375 for 8-10 minutes.

AVOCADO SALSA

This salsa is quick and easy to make. It's colorful and most important, it's delicious! I made it yesterday for the memorial day party and everyone loved it!!

INGREDIENTS:
2 (11oz.) can shoepeg corn
2 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
3 tomatoes, diced
1 red onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
2 avocados - peeled, pitted and diced
1 (16 oz.) bottle of zesty italian dressing

DIRECTIONS:
mix everything together and pour dressing over the top. gently stir until well mixed. Store in fridge until ready to serve. Yummy with tortilla chips.

Halloween Witch Hats

Are these so cute or what? and so simple to make your kids can help! Just use a fudge stripe cookie upside down and squirt a blob of orange frosting on top and add a hershey kiss.
